Andrew Knight

I’m a former Army satellite network coordinator, lifelong artist, inveterate tinkerer, and a serious guitar nerd.  I grew up around motorcycles and muscle cars, and now I design and build guitars that embody  speed and power.

As a designer, I draw inspiration from a variety of sources, both vintage and modern. I discovered the joy of instrument design after having the opportunity to study a bass guitar handmade by Carl Thompson. His beautifully organic style showed me that aesthetics can have just as much impact as craftsmanship. I’m also inspired by the work of Ken Parker, a brilliant innovator who pioneered the widespread usage of composite materials in guitars. To me, guitar design is the ultimate synthesis of art and engineering and I fully take advantage of modern software and technology in order to realize my vision.
