Taught by furniture maker Michael Burt, you will have a week full of learning, skill-building exercises, and sample work at a school wonderfully suited to lots of interaction and individual instruction.
Class Learning Objectives:
- Introduction to the machine
- Discussion of .svg pattern creation and on-tool design
- Joinery with customization
- Cutting shapes, cauls
- Jigs and fixtures
- Incorporating Shaper into furniture design
While we complete projects throughout the week, this class is primarily a learning vehicle, and the projects shouldn’t be the only reason to take the course.
