I am self taught with use of carbide tools but would like to learn more about using regular gouges.
Please suggest a suitable class and also how much time is spent on lathes. Is it one lathe per student?

Andrew – the right place to start will be the Introduction to Turning. You’ll learn alot more about gouges and refine your current knowledge with safe practices and increased skills. You’ll work on several projects and you will have your own lathe.
