Make a Strumpet (Dulcimer) with Beth Ireland

Level:  Open to all

Whether you are a musician who wants to learn woodworking techniques, or  a woodworker who would like to learn the elements necessary to create stringed musical instruments, or just someone looking for a fun weekend, this is the class for you!

Two skilled professional woodworkers will guide you through the safe use of tools including the bandsaw, router, drill press and stationary sanders.

Students (16yrs or older) will learn to shape with hand tools, lay out scale lengths, and then string and strum the dulcimer guitar you create!
