Beginning Woodworking

Our beginning woodworking class will provide a step by step introduction to woodworking.  This course is perfect for beginners or for intermediates who want to hone their skills.

[one_fifth padding=”0 10px 0 0″]What You Will Learn: [/one_fifth]In this hands-on class, you will learn the complete process of woodworking (designing, milling, joinery, finishing) and the proper use of [one_fifth padding=”0 10px 0 0″]  [/one_fifth]machinery and tools.  Learn tool set-up and proper techniques for using stationary power equipment (jointer, planer, table saw, etc) and [one_fifth padding=”0 10px 0 0″]  [/one_fifth]hand tools (squares, chisels, scrapers).

[one_fifth padding=”0 10px 0 0″]What You Will Do:[/one_fifth]In our five-day class, you will design and make a small table.  This will include work with stationary power tools and hand tools.
