Handworks registration website is now open!
It will the first time that we have been and are stoked to be an exhibitor, we’ll also get to meet some of the most amazing makers you can find! We can’t wait to meet Bad Axe Tools because we think they might be Vikings, Frank Strazza – whose work we have long admired and Brese Handplanes (we met them donkeys years ago and were blown away by the beauty of their tools).
Handworks takes place in Amana, Iowa, on Sept. 4-5, 2020. I’m not sure where Iowa is – up north, just past Canada but Tripadvisor tells me that it is full of great things to do and looks really pretty.
We will have a table there – it’s super casual. We’ll have some brochures and info about classes. You’ll be able to sign up, but we would be delighted to just to meet you, answer your questions about the School and talk to you about dolphins, manatees and Florida sunshine.
Handworks is a lot of work for the organizers, and every year they put it on they threaten it will be the last event. So don’t miss this one thinking there will be another. There might not.
Be sure to register so you are eligible for the door prizes – we’re giving away a $400 gift card!
