Designed by your instructor, Philip Morley, this mid-century lounge chair has flair but is supremely comfortable. You’ll learn about traditional joinery, careful craft, and unique design touches.

This class build will help you focus on precise layout, careful measurement, and the use of templates for pattern routing.

• Making bridle joints and mortise & tenons
• Proper handtool use
• Using templates and jigs for pattern routing
• Power tool techniques such as coping on the table saw
• Design elements such as decorative veneered panels

Materials: Provided by the School. We will also offer some wood species choices, but if you have a “stash,” you may want to consider bringing something unique for the panels.
