Kelly Scott made his first piece of furniture at age 14, kindling an interest in design and creating. Later, he obtained his electronic engineering degree and pursued a 40-year career in the semiconductor & design automation business. After a 20-year hiatus from woodworking, his passion for woodworking was reignited, and he apprenticed with many of the modern masters of our time. An engineer at heart he deeply loves the precision and focus of joinery and the craft of woodworking.
In 2018, Kelly opened KellyBLVD Furniture LLC in Cape Coral, FL, focusing on contemporary furniture using designer hardwoods and veneers, often supplemented with metal or glass. Marrying state-of-the art technology with traditional woodworking skills, he crafts one of a kind heirloom furniture for his clients. He is also pursuing a series of standard product lines.
