Bowl Mates work by holding your workpiece between two stops and thin wedges while you use an axe, drawer knife and spokeshave to carve your bowl.

Made of solid poplar (shown in Pine), the Bowl Mates are based on Robin Wood’s design and were used during the Fine Woodworking Hands-On Event. They do show some wear, but it is not excessive.

The legs are removable for easy storage and shipping if needed.

54″ long (leg point to leg point) x 34 1/2″ tall x 28″ wide (leg point to leg point)

The bowl block top is 36″ long x 7″ wide x 8″ tall
