TOOL LIST – EMBELLISHMENT CLASS

 

Hello students!  Thanks for signing up for my embellishment class.  The school is going to provide a nifty little kit full of all kinds of goodies to learn various embellishment techniques.  These are the few items that you will want to have handy for the class.

 

GILDING

  • Scissors
  • Gloves (tight fitting cotton gloves are ideal but latex or nitrile will also work)
  • Small fan, hair dryer or heat gun to dry samples
  • Small 3D object to gild (optional)

EBONIZING

  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 2 cups hot water
  • Jars to make solutions
  • Paint filters/coffee filters
  • Containers for using solutions

MILK PAINT

  • Containers for mixing paint
  • Measuring spoons
